The Local final of the competition for the best ides of students at the University of Novi Sad was held on 28.06.2018, at the Ceremonial Hall, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Novi Sad, Serbia. Nine the best ideas and names of the teams on this final are: Eagle – M^3, Flexy Step - Microwizard, Magic Mushrooms – M^2, Novosadski Kulturni Automat+ – McTronic, PetFill – SmartBulb, PetSet – DNA, Poboljšanje rada gitare – Neksus, PostBike – Green Messenger, SmartWalk – ElektricariG3. 
 
According to the methodology, the members of the Jury on this final were: (1) Prof. Goran Stojanović - UNS, (2) Prof. Stevan Stankovski - UNS, (3) Doc. Vukašin Kuč - UBG, (4) Sanja Marković - company Ibis Instruments, Belgrade, (5) Milica Vračarić - AlmaMons, agency for development SMEs, Novi Sad.
 
After presentations of all teams and after calculations of the marks from Jury members (40%) and from previously evaluated Business plan (60 %) three the best teams were awarded with valuable awards:
(1)   Team ElektricariG3 with idea “SmartWalk” (82.88) – 70.000,00 RSD as well as books;
(2)   Team Green Messenger with idea “PostBike” (80.16) – 50.000,00 RSD as well as books;
(3)   Team Microwizard with idea “Flexy Step” (78.28) – 30.000,00 RSD as well as books.
 
First two teams will represent the University of Novi Sad at the National competition in Belgrade.
 
The sponsors of awards for this competition were: Provincial secretariat for higher education and scientific research, company Ibis Instruments Belgrade and company CAM Engineering Novi Sad.
