On Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Faculty of Economics, the Creative Center of the University of Belgrade has been launched. All interested students will have the opportunity to implement their ideas there through the most modern technological solutions.

Thus, with the help of 3D printers, one of the devices in the Center, students will be able to make the first prototypes of their products.

- We are glad to host the Creative Center of the University of Belgrade, which will be a gathering place for all students with good ideas. This center was launched with the vision to encourage creativity and entrepreneurial spirit among the academic population, to promote innovative ways of learning and studying, supported and facilitated by modern technologies - said the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor Branislav Boričić.

This creativity and innovation development center, created with the support of the European project IF4TM of Erasmus+ programme, is specific by its devices and the latest technology with which it is equipped. In addition to 3D printer, there are 3D pen, 3D scanner, WACOM graphic tablet, virtual reality equipment and much more.

All students and professors of the University of Belgrade will be able to use the Center to perfect their own ideas completely free of charge, and the application for the term will be soon available on the website of the Faculty of Economics.

A panel discussion entitled "Innovations - Welcome to the Future" was also held on the occasion of the open doors of the Creative Center of the University of Belgrade.

The participants of the discussion were CEOs Likes & Cookies, Nikola Ćurčić (CEO Trusteed) and Stefan Ivošević (Lead Creative Origo advertising). The discussion was moderated by Dr Veljko Mijušković.

All interested students of the Belgrade University had the opportunity to hear from the panelists what is what distinguishes them in their business spheres, whether the world is overwhelmed with ideas and innovations, the connection of marketing with innovation and creativity, and what the revolution 4.0 is preparing for.

After the discussion, the students were invited to visit the premises of the Creative Center, which will be available for the usage soon. The event was exceptionally successful, attended by over a hundred participants (students and teachers of the University of Belgrade, representatives of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of Education and Science, media, etc.), and the news about the establishment of the Center was broadcaste in all national media (e.g. RTS, Prva, N1, Politika, etc.).
