Creativity Center of the University of Kragujevac, together with the SUFIN Student Union of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, organized Workshop on production processes “FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) analysis” on December 21, 2018. The workshop was supported under the Erasmus IF4TM project and the SUFIN project "Educate and forward, SUFIN is so worth it" supported by the Ministry of Education of Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.

Students who showed interest, 25 of them, had the opportunity to get acquainted with the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) analysis, which is prescribed by the IATF 16949 standard. The FMEA is one of the important steps in the production process control and serves to assess the risk of different production processes.

The lecturer аt the workshop was Dr. Nikola Banduka, with years of industrial experience in the manufacturing sector and application of FMEA analysis. The workshop consisted of two parts, introductory with the theoretical presentation of the FMEA analysis and the other part during which the participants in the interaction with the lecturer solved the concrete industrial problem. In the period between lectures and interactive work, the participants filled in the Belbin test, in order to form teams based on test results.

The problem was solved by participants within teamwork, which is exactly the system of work that is needed for the realization of those tasks in the industry. Each of the teams had a standard FMEA table in electronic and written form, which the team members completed during the workshop.
