University of Kragujevac (UKG), (www.kg.ac.rs), is a modern educational and research centre with its 12 faculties located in 6 towns of Central Serbia. In addition to the administrative departments of UKG, other structures that contribute to the development of partnerships and transfer of knowledge are: Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences and the University of Kragujevac, University Information Centre, Centre for Career Development, Collaborative Training Centre, Long Life Learning centre, Knowledge Transfer Centre, International projects office, International Relations office, Business Support Office. Among other efficient interfaces with the industry, UKG relies on its Collaborative Training Centre (CTC), which acts as basic and highly specialized training and services provider to the Serbian industry. In line with its institutional mission, the centre offers customized trainings, broad spectrum of services focused on advanced technologies and techniques of rapid product development, coordinates VMnet network (1500 members) and facilitates cooperation with industry.

Business Support Office (BSO) is established within the WBCInno project, with the aim to make research and innovation potential available to business environment. It offers a single-point-of-access to university resources, equipment, trainings, research findings, patents and licensing for business partners, while ensuring a close link with the academic departments of the university. For that purpose, it developed and maintains online Catalogue on Research and Innovation Potential. Among other activities, BSO deals with innovation management platform (Inno platform), as efficient online collaborative software tool for innovation management, starting from collecting ideas, collaboration, review, scoring, approval and prioritization, and to the final stage of support to building projects from approved ideas. The platform is used for competition for best student ideas which was organized for the first time in 2015.
