In the scope of project IF4TM activity 4.2 consists of five one-day trainings “IP Protection and IP Management” which should be held at HEIs. The target groups were research and teaching staff, as well as other participants who are in some manner interested in this topic.

In the first part of the training Dragan Vasiljevic (IPOS) introduced participants with the IP rights and distinctive signs like trademarks and industrial design, as well as with the subject of copyright and soft IP. After that, Natasa Milovanovic (IPOS) held several presentations and covered issues related to the patent protection and methodology for searching through patent and design databases.

Second part of the training started with presentation held by Dragan Vasiljevic, who emphasized the importance of IP management at universities. After that, Natasa Milovanovic presented the available teaching materials which were then distributed to the participants after the end of the training.
